Dorothy Palomares

Dorothy Palomares is going into her 10th season with the Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck, serving as the club's first female Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales. Dorothy has a long professional history in special events and philanthropy having planned and coordinated thousands of events. She was named as one of the “Top Party Planner’s in the New York Tri-State Area”.
She joined the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce in 2014, became a Board Member in 2018 and served as the 2021 Vice-President. As President, Dorothy’s mission is to build the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce into a powerhouse of the best local businesses. When the community calls, she’s there to lend a hand. In addition to the Mamaroneck Chamber, Dorothy is also a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, Metropolitan Club Managers Association, the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), the American Association of Notaries and the CT Irish American Historical Society. Dorothy lives in Connecticut with her husband and two stepchildren.
