Jennifer O’Neill is the Director of Mamaroneck Public Library, the friendliest library in Westchester County. She was raised in Larchmont and received her Master’s in Library Science from Long Island University’s Palmer School. Jennifer enjoys creating highly motivated cultures and inspiring and engaging team members to achieve their maximum performance. She loves being surrounded by positive and creative people who are passionate about what they do. She.is a first-rate researcher, teacher and coach and looks forward to using her gifts to help the community.

At Mamaroneck Public Library she has improved community partnerships, created innovative programs and increased the library’s visibility as a community center. Jennifer is extremely proud of her staff that did not miss one day of public service in 2021 despite the pandemic, seamlessly pivoting from curb side pick up to full library services. And who housed FEMA for 3 months in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida to assist the citizens of Mamaroneck and other communities who were devastated by the flood.

Jennifer is a mother, daughter and devoted aunt of 7 nieces and nephews. She is passionate about genealogy, hiking and Notre Dame football (Go Irish!)  Her favorite books are A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Screwtape Letters, and the Bible.
